Ideal Homes, Inc. Receives WBE and DBE Certifications

Ideal Homes, Inc. receives WBE Certification from the State of Wisconsin and DBE Certification from the WiDOT.

2010-12-07
LAKE GENEVA, WI, December 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ideal Homes, Inc., a business specializing in new residential construction recently received its certification as a Women's Business Enterprise and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. WBE Certification to Ideal Homes, Inc. was awarded by the State of Wisconsin. Ideal Homes, Inc. currently holds a WBE certification through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council in partnership with the Women's Business Development Center - Chicago. Ideal Homes, Inc.'s DBE Certification was awarded from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Ideal Homes, Inc. has been building custom residential homes in Southeastern Wisconsin for over 14 years. The company recently launched its commercial division, Ideal Contractors of Wisconsin, providing commercial contracting services to Southeastern Wisconsin. Ideal Contractors of Wisconsin is a subsidiary of the parent company, Ideal Homes, Inc., and holds the WBE, WBENC, EBE, and DBE Certifications as well.

WBE Certification is a meticulous process, including a lengthy review of the business and a site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more women. The WBE Certification is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. Thousands of corporations and many federal and government agencies recognize and accept the certification into their vendor-business relationship selection processes.

The DBE Certification is also a lengthy process. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise means a small business which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The burden is on the applicant to prove they maintain this status. The DBE program goal is to increase participation of firms owned by disadvantaged individuals in all federal aid and state transportation facility contracts.

Both the certifications are signification achievement for Ideal Homes, Inc. Many projects require a percentage of work to be performed by a minority-owned firm in order to adhere to diversity guidelines. "This is tremendous news for architects, engineers, subcontractors, building owners, and other construction industry professionals working in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. Whether a company is looking for a residential builder or a commercial contractor, Ideal Homes and Ideal Contractors are certified to perform the construction here in Southeastern Wisconsin under WBE, EBE, and DBE Certifications. It's a great benefit to have several certifications under the same company and have the talent to be available for both the residential and the commercial construction industry." said Diane Polczynski, President of Ideal Homes, Inc. and Ideal Contractors of Wisconsin.

Ideal Homes, Inc. is a long-standing business in the Milwaukee area, serving our communities for over fourteen years. Owner, Diane Polczynski, has been at the forefront of establishing Ideal Homes, Inc. as a reputable company in the Milwaukee area and launching the new commercial division, Ideal Contractors of Wisconsin. Ms. Polczynski endured a lengthy in-depth process to achieve WBE and DBE Certifications and is proud to achieve memberships in the most recognized certifications in the nation.
