Astor & Black Clients Among Esquire's Best Dressed Real Men

Two finalists for the magazine's 2010 contest are loyal to the custom men's clothier

2010-08-29
ST. LOUIS, MO, August 29, 2010 (Press-News.org) Bespoke clothing company Astor & Black boasts two clients as finalists in Esquire magazine's 2010 Best Dressed Real Man contest. Wale Oyejide, 29, a Philadelphia attorney, and Angel Ramos, a 29-year-old luxury real estate agent working in Miami and Atlanta, both made the cut as this year's fashion icons for "real men."

"To see not one, but two, clients named in Esquire's top five is a real thrill," said David Schottenstein, Astor & Black founder and CEO. "Mr. Oyejide and Mr.Ramos each have an unparalleled sense of style that truly embodies what Astor & Black set out to do in 2004: dress every man with high quality, custom-fit clothing at the most reasonable price."

In an interview with Esquire, Mr. Ramos mentioned the clothier by name, listing Astor & Black as one of his favorite brands and divulging to readers that the company makes many of his suits and shirts. Mr. Ramos told Esquire his personal style is a mix of elegant and eclectic, the elegant portion being his custom suiting.

Mr. Oyejide summed up his sense of style to Esquire as head turning for all the right reasons. Spread collars and slim-cut two-button suits are among his top style picks, and that of many Astor & Black clients this year.

Read more about Mr. Oyejide, Mr. Ramos and the other finalists on Esquire's website. The winner will be announced September 7 and will receive $20,000 worth of prizes, including a trip to New York City during fashion week, an IWC chronograph watch and a feature in Esquire's September style issue.
