1on1 Boxing Fitness Welcomes Richard Macias as Head Boxing Coach

Macias brings several years of boxing coaching experience to 1on1 Boxing Fitness.

MESA, AZ, August 29, 2010 (Press-News.org) 1on1 Boxing Fitness, Mesa's premier boxing fitness facility, welcomes Richard Macias as head coach of its amateur and youth boxing program.

"Richard and I share the same philosophies in training, and we hit it off from the moment he walked into the door," said 1on1 Boxing Fitness Owner, certified conditioning specialist and former professional boxer Christopher Terry. "He came into the gym and took over my amateur boxing program in one night, and everyone raved about how great the training session was."

Macias is a registered USA Boxing Coach and an Operations Iraqi Freedom war veteran. For the past three years, the 27 year-old has worked as a volunteer boxing coach for three valley boxing clubs. Additionally, Macias also coaches his 10-year old son, 2010 National Junior Golden Gloves champion and now 1on1 Boxing Fitness fighter Breenan "Killa B" Griffin.

"Macias's initiative and leaderships skills will be a vital asset to 1on1 Boxing Fitness," said Terry "I am very impressed with his drive and passion for the sport; he has a passion for coaching that radiates through his training."

Macias will train 1on1 Boxing Fitness amateur boxers and run the gym's youth boxing program.
Macias will be available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m.
