3 Million! InterNetX breaks the domain barrier

As of December 5, 2010, InterNetX now manages over 3 million domains for its customers and also offers more than 300 different ccTLDs and gTLDs.

2010-12-09
REGENSBURG, GERMANY December 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) On December 5, 2010 at exactly 14:23, the moment finally arrived: InterNetX stepped over the boundary of 3 million managed domains. Aside from InterNetX, only a handful of other registrars worldwide hold such a large number of domains. The InterNetX portfolio includes more than 300 different country code and generic top-level domains - from Iceland (.IS) in the north, all the way to Antarctica (.AQ) in the south.

In this year alone, the Regensburg Internet Service Provider managed to include over 30 new additions to its portfolio and as such, counts as one of the leading domain registrars worldwide. Domains registered at InterNetX are managed in the company's own first-class data center in Munich. The Regensburg company demonstrates ongoing development - InterNetX has achieved a double-digit growth rate for the tenth year running.

"According to our planning, we had been expecting to clear the magical hurdle of 3 million managed domains in the coming quarter. We're naturally very pleased that we can already enjoy our success this year. At the same time, on behalf of the entire InterNetX team, I'd like to thank every one of our almost 20.000 customers for placing their confidence in us year after year. This broad customer base lays the foundation of our success," says Hakan Ali, Sales and Marketing Director at InterNetX.

The Regensburg company does not intend to rest on what it has achieved so far and is already planning to take on new domain products and further nTLDs in the coming year.
