IRVINE, CA, December 09, 2010

All-Pro Science, Inc. (APS) has announced with its President, Tony Gonzalez, the addition of Detroit Lions Center Dylan Gandy, as a member of its elite professional athlete endorser team known as TEAM APS. TEAM APS includes top athletes such as NFL greats Warren Moon, Will Shields, Nate Burleson, Devin McCourty, Naufahu Tahi, Jim Leonhard, and Jason McCourty. MLB All Star Troy Tulowitzki and LA's top yoga instructor Alanna Zabel are also among TEAM APS's notable athletes. APS athletes are not paid, but instead often approach the company themselves, to be a part of its unique and wholesome message.

Gandy attended Texas Tech University. After redshirting as a true freshman, he started three games the following season for the Red Raiders. He finished his sophomore year as an All-Big 12 Academic first-teamer, and made the second team the following year as a junior. Although he played mostly guard and tackle his first three seasons, he switched to center his senior year. There he excelled and started 12 games for the Red Raiders. He was selected to the All-Big 12 honorable mention team by the coaches in the conference.

In 2005, Gandy was selected in the 4th Round of the NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. According to detroitlions.com, Gandy helped Indianapolis post the highest third-down success rate (56.1 percent/105-of-187) in the NFL since the 1970 merger and allowed the fewest sacks (15) in the league while averaging an AFC best 379.4 yards per game. He won a Super Bowl with the Colts in 2006. He played for a number of teams in the league, including the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos, before finally signing with the Detroit Lions in spring of 2009. Gandy has been remarkably versatile in his career, playing both Guard, Center, and even on special teams.

"Gandy has been a guy that plays with a chip on his shoulder; he always fights and surprises people with what he's able to achieve," says APS President Tony Gonzalez. "People don't realize what it takes when you play for so many teams and it's a tribute to his work ethic that he's been able to survive in this league, team after team. We know he's going to bring the same tenacity to APS to help us remain successful. He gets where we're going with our wholesome, all-natural message, and we're excited that he's onboard to help with promotion."

APS Director Paul Edalat remarked, "Dylan sees the vision as to where we are going as a company. He understands and embodies the drive necessary to succeed at the highest level on the field and we look forward to him bringing the same strength and ambition to APS."

APS Director of Athlete Relations Evan Brennan echoed, "TEAM APS is growing at amazing rate, it is testament to the wholesome, all-natural essence of our message and products. Professional athletes are able to see what Tony has achieved with his lifestyle and they want to be a part of what we're creating here."
