The event will take place at the Memorial Drive Tennis Club between January 11th and 13th 2011, with legend of the game John McEnroe just one of the stars lined up to compete.

He will be joined at the tournament by the likes of Michael Llodra, Henri Leconte, Ivan Lendl and Australian favourite Pat Cash, which could encourage people staying in Adelaide hotels at the time to book tickets.

Co-director of the World Tennis Challenge Mark Woodforde has lauded the array of talent on show at the spectacle and pointed out Llodra was the last man to win an ATP event in Adelaide.

"He has led France to the Davis Cup final this year so we are thrilled to have him play for the European team," the organiser remarked.

Although Memorial Drive - located just a few minutes away from the CBD - seats 5,000 people, the quality of the players means demand for places is likely to be high. As a result, people staying in Adelaide city hotels next month should look to book their tickets as soon as possible.
