SURREY, BC, December 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Surrey, BC - Surrey orthodontics specialist Dr. Aly Kanani is offering a new system which was first unveiled in October 2010 by Align Technology.
The Invisalign G3 system's new aligner and software features make it easier for Kanani and the team at his Surrey invisible braces practice to fix Class II and Class III malocclusions. These "bad bites" often necessitate elastics to anchor the braces. The G3 system lets doctors plan precision cuts in each aligner so it is simpler to utilize elastics. Notes the Surrey braces provider, before the G3 system any orthodontist who needed to use elastics had to manually cut the aligners.
Invisalign G3 also features SmartForce options, including: optimized attachments to permit greater predictability in some tooth movements; the power ridge for use with lower anterior teeth; the lingual power ridge for upper anterior teeth; and the optimized rotation attachment for bicuspids.
The Surrey orthodontist practice will also employ the new ClinCheck software to enhance the efficiency of the treatment planning and review process. "The improved software lets me quickly and readily change a patient's treatment plan if necessary," observes the Surrey Invisalign expert.
