Kinetix Dance have opened their doors to dancers of all ages and abilities and aim to create a fun and friendly environment to have fun and keep fit for children and adults.Children's dance classes include Ballet, Musical Dance Theatre and Hip Hop.
Adults dance classes are wide and varied and include Hip Hop, Ballroom, Latin, Ballet, Zumba and Popmobility Tone & Flex.
Examinations are optional in ISTD Ballet.
Principal, Sharon Johnston, says "We want to offer our dancers a wide choice of dance options to make their time with us as enjoyable as possible. Dance is one of the few types of activities that we are able to do regardless of age and ability and the health benefits are massive. A hip hop dance class can burn off as many as 400 calories and because our members are having fun, they don't even realise they are exercising!"
Sharon adds, "The health benefits to children is enormous. It has been proven that after a good dance workout, students return to the classroom with heightened concentration and motivation for the rest of the day."
