Moab Utah Meetings, Weddings, and Events, the 2009 founded department of the Moab Area Travel Council, has added Green Sustainable Tips and Event Entertainment web pages this last month to the site moabutah.info . The most recent webpage is a public form to request bids of Moab's event venues and services with one single document - a Request for Proposal or RFP.Facility and Event Promoter, Michele Hill, commented, "Interest about a meeting, wedding or conference typically arrives as a paragraph expressing interest to convene in Moab. Consistently, it is necessary to reply to qualify the details for the event". After examining several RFPs of meeting professionals and venues, consulting Robert Riberia (the Moab Area Travel Council's Graphic Design/Internet Specialist), and evaluating the responses the information office applies to interested meeting, wedding or event planners, a basic RFP/RFQ has been established and made live online.
Moab has been designated by the EPA as the First in the Nation to adopt alternative energy to permit Moab to be consider a green energy community.
