NORWALK, CT, December 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Jani Caroli's legacy has spanned 20 years on the Greenwich Avenue area, and is now entering a new life as Paris Couture Jewelry. Jani founded and owned the hallmark French Country Living store, which opened its doors in Greenwich in 1988. The store and its name is known throughout the north east for fine hand selected French antiques, French imports and complete home furnishings, which Jani provided to the finest residences throughout the Tri-State area.
With expertise in the sought after French Country style, Jani, a French national herself, helped to decorate and furnish hundreds of homes and estates. Jani's name is synonymous with a tailored style of custom service and strong ties to her clients. Many of her French Country clientele worked with her for years, furnishing and decorating main homes, vacation homes, and even yachts.
Prior to opening French Country Living, Jani also owned and operated three Vermont-based boutiques, offering fashion jewelry, cosmetics and other high fashion items. Jani has since become known nationally as a premier authority in jewelry design.
In 2006 Jani decided to retire from retail store ownership and took time off, traveling back to her native France. Originally from Marseille, Jani was bred from a family of painting and antique collectors. With her passion ever at work, Jani's eye for talent was caught on a trip to Paris where she found a precious talent yet to be seen on American soil. Jani had discovered the Parisian artisan jewelry designer Didier Peiro, who had begun designing fantastic jewelry for Paris' haute couture fashion houses.
"That is when the muse hit me, and I became inspired to start anew," said Jani. "Here were these fantastic pieces that I absolutely had to share with the rest of the world. At heart I am a buyer; it is what I love to do and what I do best."
Jani, ready for her rebirth into high-end retail, has brought the Didier Peiro Collection to the states with her new business Paris Couture Jewelry and pariscouturejewelry.com, an expert online merchant of the finest French artisan handmade jewelry.
"I was ready to embark on my next journey," said Jani. "It feels great to be starting again, and putting my years of experience and buying sensibility to use. I formed Paris Couture Jewelry with the hope of sharing on a global level the exquisite work of highly talented jewelry designers who deserve exposure. It is with great pride and excitement that I launch an online presence through which others around the world can enjoy these pieces as much as I have myself."
With the unique and inventive Peiro pieces on the Paris Couture website where the lustrous and colorful styles can be ordered, Paris Couture and Jani are on a constant hunt to discover the most creative designers in the world and bring their work to the U.S. markets under exclusive representation; jewelers are able to contact Paris Couture Jewelry through pariscouturejewelry.com.
