NZ Classic Car Magazine Celebrates Twentieth Anniversary

NZ Classic car magazine commemorates twenty years of automotive excellence with a special anniversary edition of "NZ Classic Car" magazine.

2010-12-15
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, December 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Since its first appearance in January 1991, NZ Classic Car magazine has been the authoritative voice of the local classic car hobby, providing news, features and event coverage from all around the North and South Island. Today, the magazine continues to occupy a leading position in the New Zealand motoring scene - and, with the release of the January 2011 edition, the magazine also celebrates 20 years of motoring excellence.

The appearance of this 20th Anniversary edition marks a major milestone in the ongoing development of NZ Classic Car - an occasion which invokes considerable pride for everyone involved with the magazine (both past and present).

Since its early beginnings in 1991, NZ Classic Car has grown from a slim, black and white magazine printed on cheap paper to become a market-leading, full-colour publication featuring superb photography, authoritative and entertaining writing, nationwide reporting and world-class publication standards. Indeed, even by international standards, NZ Classic Car is recognized as a leading automotive publication and many of the magazine's editorial team have written and published notable motoring books on their own behalf, further adding to NZ Classic Car's national and international reputation as New Zealand's leading classic car publication.

And its a reputation which is jealously guarded by everyone involved with NZ Classic Car - and, as the magazine continues to grow and develop, the editorial team continually strive to improve their already high standards. As such, NZ Classic Car fully expects to be around for many more years to come, providing local classic car enthusiasts with exciting features backed up with superb photography.

20th Anniversary Collectors' Edition
In it's 20th Anniversary Collectors' Edition, NZ Classic Car's current editor, Allan Walton, take a trip down memory lane to recall some of the highlights in the magazine's 20 year history - remembering special editions from the past two decades, discusses memorable classic cars as featured within the magazine's pages and looks back at his visits with just a few of famous motoring personalities who have appeared in NZ Classic Car since its foundation.

A Kiwi Icon
With 20 years of continuous publication, NZ Classic Car (originally carrying the title of NZ Classic Car Directory) is now well established as a Kiwi icon within the local classic car scene and within local publishing. As such, it is appropriate that their 20th Anniversary edition should be headed off by an in-depth feature on an iconic car much-loved by Kiwi classic car enthusiasts - namely the Ford Zodiac/Zephyr MkII; a gorgeous example of which graces the cover of this special edition of NZ Classic Car.ion media.
