Dr Nina Bailey has been actively involved in promoting awareness of the role of the diet in maintaining good health. She trained in biomedical science before studying for a doctorate in cell biology. Her efforts are concentrated within the role of dietary health and nutritional intervention in disease, with particular emphasis being placed upon the role of essential fatty acids in conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and depression. She regularly holds training workshops with the public and speaks on a variety of topics including digestive health, depression, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, children disorders, etc.
