2010 has been a year with increased focus on online publishing, with new formats, devices and tools being released. The release of the iPad in particular has received a lot of attention and great reviews. The traditional media have realized the benefits of publishing their publications online, and many of them have either already launched or are just about to launch digital editions of their publications. In particular digital editions that can be read on iPads are in high demand.

Companies can create their own publications for iPad
In September 2010 eMagCreator launched a new version of their software, eMagStudio that allows you to publish directly to Apples iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, using HTML 5. eMagCreator differs from most of their competitors by selling the actual technology as desktop software.
