Thorburn Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Burbank CA Wins 2011 Talk of the Town Award

The 2011 Talk of the Town Award has been presented to Thorburn Chiropractic and Wellness Center in the category of Excellence in Customer Satisfaction for a Chiropractor

2010-12-16
BURBANK, CA, December 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Thorburn Chiropractic and Wellness Center of Burbank CA has been honored by Celebration Media, U.S. (CMUS) as a 2011 Talk of the Town Award Recipient in the category of Excellence in Customer Satisfaction for a Chiropractor.

This is the second year CMUS has honored companies with its Talk of the Town Awards, which recognizes select businesses and professionals who have been noted by their customers through multiple Web sites for their excellent customer service. The awards honor companies and professionals in several categories, highlighting the best companies in each one.

For the last two and a half decades, Dr. Charlene Thorburn has cared for the Burbank community and beyond and has donated her time and expertise in a variety of ways. From providing no-charge back and neck check-ups to company employees to help them stay healthy on the job, to educating seniors at adult centers on how to prevent osteoporosis and increase energy; to presenting wellness and nutrition talks at the local movie studios. Her center sponsored the "Kid's Day America" event and has raised funds for the YMCA, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, and Burbank Temporary Aid Center.

Dr. Thorburn is a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist, which is a specialist in chiropractic medicine requiring several years of postgraduate study. She is also a Registered Nurse, and served for twelve years as emergency room staff and a charge nurse at a local Medical Center. Her unique combination of experience in the traditional medical model, combined with intensive studies in the area of chiropractic and nutrition, make Dr. Thorburn's healing approach very broad and thorough.

Ashley G., who works at a local movie studio in Burbank, had been having such bad back pain that she couldn't sleep. She says: "I thought Dr. Thorburn would fix my back and that would be that. I had no idea that she would go above and beyond that. I've also always had a problem with daily migraines and numbness in my arm, but after seeing Dr. T regularly I no longer have any of those problems. My back feels as good as new and I haven't had any migraines since I started seeing her. Not to mention I get a much deeper, more restful sleep now too. I can't even imagine my life without Dr. T."

The Talk of the Town awards are presented by Celebration Media U.S., a company that is headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. They are a consultancy firm specializing in the delivery of solutions for improved customer care and operational development. The company's mission is to uncover the most highly rated businesses and spotlight their achievements in customer satisfaction.
