ROUND ROCK, TX, September 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) Dr. Mahlon Kerr (www.synergyplasticsurgery.com) has recently launched a new website in conjunction with the grand opening of Synergy Plastic Surgery, his private practice. Through the new site, Dr. Kerr hopes to generate more of a presence in Austin and Round Rock by showcasing his work, providing real patient testimonials, and discussing the procedures he performs openly and honestly.
"It made sense to launch a website right away," Dr. Kerr explains. "Although I have had experience performing a variety of procedures, I needed to get the word out in the local community. My goal with the site is to provide an informative resource about plastic surgery, and let patients know what my practice is all about."
Having completed a rigorous plastic and reconstructive surgery residency, Dr. Kerr has had a great deal of specialized training and has performed numerous cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. Some of his "Before & After" results can be found in the Photo Gallery section of his new site, including photos of patients who have had procedures including face lifts, liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation and breast reduction in Austin.
"The photo gallery is a nice feature," Dr. Kerr explains. "We try to make it very informative by including detailed case descriptions with every photo so visitors can really understand what the patient was concerned about, and what type of surgery was performed. Visitors can also judge the quality and aesthetics of my work for themselves."
The site gives visitors a window into Dr. Kerr's surgical philosophy. "It's all about clarity," Dr. Kerr says. "At the practice, we try to be clear about who we are so that visitors can make the best decision for themselves. My Austin breast enhancement, body contouring and facial sculpting patients all know that surgery is a major decision, and I encourage them to do their homework so they can be satisfied with their results for years to come."
Dr. Kerr and his wife Ashley, who is a registered nurse and specializes in Botox and facial fillers for the practice, are excited about the buzz his new site is generating. After falling in love with the Austin area, Dr. Kerr returned to Texas after completing his training. "We couldn't be happier to be part of the community," Dr. Kerr says. "It's my goal to help people achieve their aesthetic vision, and it's my pleasure to do that here in Round Rock and Austin."
Dr. Mahlon Kerr (www.synergyplasticsurgery.com) is a plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas who offers numerous cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for the face, body and breasts. After receiving his Medical Doctorate from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Kerr went on to complete a general surgery internship at the University of Nevada Department of Surgery in Las Vegas and a 5 year combined plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Utah Division of Plastic Surgery in Salt Lake City. During this time, Dr. Kerr has given many national and international presentations on his research. He is an attending plastic surgeon at several Austin area hospitals, and a member of the Texas Medical Association.
