Juvet Landscape Hotel in Valldal, Norway - New at Welcome Beyond

Welcome Beyond is happy to announce that Juvet Landscape Hotel in Valldal, Norway is now part of our selection of unique vacation homes & boutique hotels worldwide.

2010-12-17
BERLIN, GERMANY, December 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Juvet is a unique landscape hotel with 7 cubes scattered around in the harsh Norwegian landscape.

Realized by Jensen & Skodvin Arkitektkontor, the hotel offers various tour packages to see the Norwegian Big Five - exhilerating skiing trips, hiking, rafting through the raging waters of the Valldøla, camping in the wilderness and a visit to UNESCO site Geirangerfjord.

The architecture of the cubes is very minimalistic as Knut, the owner, describes: 'It is about what you see on the outside. In a way it is giving you the impression of being in a camera and the window is the lens. That's what it's all about. All the rest is only for your protection.'

Having completely changed the direction of his life, Knut says 'I thought I would never be stupid enough to turn my Shangri-la into the place where I had all my work and problems. But today I sometimes have to pinch my arm and ask if this is real. That I am in the middle of this fantastic nature and part of this very exciting project.'

The price per night starts at EUR 300 per couple in one of the cubes and includes breakfast.
