Syntactics CEO Participates in International Contact Center Conference and Expo

Syntactics Outsourcing Philippines Company was represented by its President and CEO, Ms. Stephanie Rosalind P. Caragos.

The International Contact Center Conference and Expo showcased the industry's latest solutions for call center systems, outsourcing services, software applications, telecommunications infrastructure, office space and equipment, recruitment, training and peripheral services.

Around 6,000 people attended the said expo-conference.

Some conference highlights included the roundtable discussion with key officials of the new Aquino government, a CEO forum, industry panel discussions, industry reports and a discussion on the global perspectives of the industry.

The main objective of the conference was to establish the Philippines to boldly stake its claim as a leading country of choice for contact center services and a key global hub for the rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.

With its most prized asset — the Filipino workforce — the Philippines has emerged in recent years as a leading and preferred destination for business process outsourcing services from around the world.

The country's strengths will be highlighted as a provider of employees equipped with a good command of the English language (written and oral) and excellent service quality with IT based services such as web designing and wordpress development.

Invited speakers were Prabakhar Bisen, president and CEO of WNS Philippines Inc.; David Rizzo, president of Asia Pacific Teleperformance; Tim Scyner, senior security manager of Sykes Asia Inc.; and Benedict Hernandez, senior executive for BPO service delivery operations of Accenture.

Analysts, government representatives, and industry practitioners also talked about the latest issues and trends in Philippine outsourcing.

This year's convention theme was "The Philippines at Centerstage" which aims to showcase the country and its capabilities.
