During this 45-minute segment, we will discuss the serious topic long-term unemployment in the African American community and strategies for the African American worker.

Solade Rowe is a seasoned talent acquisition and development professional and currently Principal at Wesley Brown & Bartle Company Inc, a boutique executive search and talent management firm based in New York City. The firm specializes in proving clients with top performing women and people of color.

His career has spanned several industries including higher education; banking; management consulting, pharmaceutical and retail. In addition to ensuring diversity throughout each of his areas of responsibility, Solade most recently led the talent management function for Macy's Logistics' division where he played an integral role during their integration with May & Co.
Influencing the external environment on diversity related issues is one of Solade's key areas of impact. He has been quoted in various publications including Black Enterprise, Diversity Inc. Magazine, Savoy Professional Magazine and the Chicago Tribune to name a few.

Solade also founded CareerAspiration, a career development and professional coaching company, which provides individuals and groups with techniques on improving their marketability and readiness for the next phase of their careers.

Solade holds a Bachelors degree in International Management and French from Utica College of Syracuse University, and a Masters in Organizational Management from the New School for Social Research in New York City. He is in his third three-year term as a member of Utica College's Board of Trustees. He is also a proud alum of the United Nations International School.
