BEND, OR, September 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) Bend, Oregon has added a new restaurant, TuckMo Subs and Sandwiches, locally owned by Mark and Jamie Carothers and managed by sons, Tucker and Morgan, at the corner of Highway 20 and Dean Swift Road in Bend alongside Longboard Louie's East, expanding the menu of dining options for Bend's eastside residents, students and professionals.

TuckMo's signature subs are made-to-order with only the freshest, ingredients on local bakery breads. Carothers and his boys recommend trying the cold subs "TuckMo style", with TuckMo's combination of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, oil, vinegar, herbs, and spices.

"We're excited to be opening the first TuckMo on Bend's eastside, and we're determined to make TuckMo a place where our customers feel comfortable and enjoy spending time," said Carothers. Flat screen TVs, music and free WIFI are a few of the amenities available at TuckMo to accomplish that goal. "We're hearing from eastside residents and businesses that they are looking forward to a much needed, quality place to eat with their families."

In addition to its signature subs, TuckMo serves up specialty hot sandwiches, such as the Roast Turkey (made with oven roasted turkey breast, Danish Havarti cheese and tomatoes with pesto mayonnaise on sour dough), and the BLT (made with Applewood smoked bacon, layered with Muenster cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, over roasted garlic mayonnaise on Focaccia bread), as well as soups, salads and a house, no-bean Tri-tip steak chili. TuckMo also offers a unique kids menu, with each sandwich served up on Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls. The PB&J and Sloppy Joe are some of the sought after favorites with the kids at TuckMo.

TuckMo Subs and Sandwiches will be inviting the public in for a free compact sub and medium fountain drink at its "Opening Taster" Event on Saturday, September, 4th between 10am and 3pm at its new location: 62090 Dean Swift Road, Bend, 97701.

TuckMo is now officially open to the public from 10am - 7pm Monday through Friday, and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on weekends.

TuckMo Subs and Sandwiches was founded in 2010 by Mark and Jamie Carothers and sons, Tucker and Morgan. TuckMo has crafted its menu with fresh, made to order, generously portioned subs and sandwiches. For more information, visit http://www.tuckmo.com.
