All-Pro Science and NFL's Tony Gonzalez Donate to Thousands to Trabuco Hills High School

Atlanta Falcons tight end and All-Pro Science President, Tony Gonzalez Donate $5,000 to local SoCal High School

2010-12-23
IRVINE, CA, December 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) All-Pro Science (APS) and its President, NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez donated $5,000 of protein supplement products on Thursday, December 17, 2010 to Trabuco Hills High School's varsity football team in Mission Viejo, CA. This is the latest installment of Tony Gonzalez's and All-Pro Science's high school outreach program, in which tens of thousands of dollars of all-natural protein supplement products have been donated to various high school football programs across Southern California.

APS employees dropped off dozens of cases of APS' Recovery protein supplements, multivitamins, and shaker cups to a crowd of grateful and excited Mustang players and parents. APS employees conducted an informational presentation about the benefits of an all-natural diet versus a synthetic or processed one. They discussed the importance of nutrition in being an athlete, and the role that proper supplementation can play in maximizing one's athletic potential. They also held a trivia contest and a Q&A session, where participants and winners received shaker cups full of protein and APS exclusive athlete t-shirts.

But the best moment was to follow. Tony Gonzalez, 10-time Pro Bowler for the Atlanta Falcons and President of All-Pro Science, called in and spoke with the players and their parents about the role of proper nutrition and supplementation has played in his life. He discussed workout techniques, foods to avoid, and an insider's look into what an elite-level NFL player does to reach the pinnacle of the sport. Mustang players had an opportunity to talk to the 14-year veteran, asking him questions about supplements, his life in the NFL, and nutrition. The donation ended in the thunderous applause of the Trabuco Hills' players and parents.

"We're just happy we got to go and be a part of this," said Tony Gonzalez. "I started this company on the premise that we as humans need to improve what we put in our bodies. If I can help spread this message of proper nutrition and supplementation to the young and old worldwide, then I will feel very fulfilled and grateful for the opportunity. All-natural is always better than something synthetic in the long run; we've really tried hard at APS to make sure that what we sell is the absolute best you can buy for your body."

APS Director Paul Edalat had this to say about the event, "I am just proud of what we are doing. The vision at APS has always been very humanitarian at its core- simply try and offer the best all-natural supplement product on the market. We want people to know that what they are putting into their bodies is often not the best choice-which a lifestyle of processed foods and fast foods will only lead to disease and illness in the long run. We are simply offering athletes and the public alike, the best choice they can find in changing what they put into their bodies. I am happy to be a part of something so positive in these kids' and others' lives."

He notes that if compliance is not followed "to the letter" plants will subject themselves and their RINS customer to rejected ...
