Donald L. Saltzman Joins Valensi Rose, PLC's Litigation Group.

2010-12-23
LOS ANGELES, CA, December 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Valensi Rose, PLC, a leading Los Angeles law firm, recently announced the addition of Donald L. Saltzman as a partner in its litigation group. Mr. Saltzman has extensive experience in both jury and bench trials concentrating in the areas of business, real estate, and securities litigation. He also represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice and major injury cases on a contingency fee basis.

"I am excited to join Valensi Rose," said Mr. Saltzman. "They're truly a group of talented attorneys who are not only committed to their clients, but also participate in philanthropic work for various organizations. I am inspired by them, and most importantly, I am motivated by them to do more."

Before joining Valensi Rose, Mr. Saltzman was of counsel at the Los Angeles office of Richardson & Patel LLP, where he and another attorney co-tried a medical malpractice case on behalf of a severely injured infant, resulting in a verdict of $96 million—the largest jury verdict in the State of California in 2007.

Mr. Saltzman was also the lead litigation attorney and general counsel in the United States for one of the largest independent European oil companies. He has litigated a six-month arbitration of a multi-million dollar contract dispute with another oil company in addition to jury and court trials involving contract, construction defect and tort claim which were extensively litigated in California, Texas, and Europe.

Mr. Saltzman's approach to complex cases is often creative and thoroughly comprehensive. He believes that many disputes can be resolved most efficiently by negotiation, mediation, or arbitration. In his securities law, medical malpractice and major injury practice, Mr. Saltzman typically and almost exclusively represents those who have been injured by inappropriate practices.

Mr. Saltzman earned his J.D. from UCLA and a B.S from California State University, Northridge.
