BOULDER, CO, December 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) As part of the Boulder Chamber's Climate Leader Series, Amadeus Consulting's CMO Jay Millard was asked to be part of the discussion, "Creating your 2011 Green Strategy," as a panelist. Along with custom software application development, Amadeus Consulting runs the BLAST! Program (Business Leaders in Action for Sustainability Today) founded by CIO John Basso and Jay Millard.

The panel was designed to help Boulder's business leaders get ideas for their 2011 sustainability plans by hearing more about panelist's own effective protocols and implementations, as well as how these practices have made their businesses thrive. Other panelists included Jon Olsen from the USGS and other local business leaders.

Specifically, BLAST! is a business-to-business training program that shows business leaders the specific ways to implement simple and meaningful sustainability practices into their offices. Amadeus Consulting is a leader in the community not only as a custom software and mobile application development company, but also as a green business.

When talking about Amadeus Consulting's involvement in the panel Jay Millard said, "This is what BLAST! is all about: spreading the knowledge we have gained working to become a company that reduces its impact on the environment. It's great for us to get out there and be able help people with green strategy that is easy and immediate to implement."

Amadeus Consulting recommended going local in many ways, "There are so many wonderful resources in Boulder: from Eco-Cycle and CHaRM, to Eco-Products to the overall green mentality. It helps to look locally because Boulder has much of the infrastructure already figured out. Boulder is definitely ahead of the game when it comes to sustainability," said Jay Millard when speaking to members of the community.
