Vinod Gupta School of Management Awarded Asia's Best B-School

SINGAPORE, December 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) (IBNS) Vinod Gupta School of Management has claimed the CMO Asia Award for being Asia's Best B-School at Suntec City, Singapore, recently.

The awards were conferred by the CMO Asia under the chairmanship of Andrew Kelly, and Stars of the Industry Awards under the chairmanship of Jonathan Peters. CMO Asia Awards accolades organizations, Chief Marketing Officers, Professors from the greatest B-Schools of Asia and HR professionals who have shown leadership in their respective fields combined with consistent innovation.

The CMO Asia Awards have been represented by 25 countries across Asia.

Other recipients present at the ceremony included professors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Insead, Australian School of Business, Melbourne Business School, Zayed University, American University of Sharjah, British University in Dubai, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIT Bombay, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Georgia State University and several other reputed schools.

The school was founded by Vinod Gupta through The Vinod Gupta Charitable Foundation in 1993 to develop upcoming management professionals and future CEOs who will lead technology-driven and knowledge-based industries. He has donated over $6 million to set up this school.

The school is the foremost B-School in the IIT system and offers both a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and a Post- Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). The two-year MBA program spans four semesters of full-time residency including a six-month internship. The PGDBM program targets working executives in a flexible, non-residential program.
