SynQuest Laboratories Advances Innovation with ProcessPro Premier ERP

SynQuest Laboratories gained competitive technological advantages with the purchase of ProcessPro Premier to manage its chemical formulations, production, quality control, and more.

2010-12-24
ST. CLOUD, MN, December 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) SynQuest Laboratories of Alachua, FL specializes in fluorinated organic and inorganic chemicals, providing a creative and innovative range of building blocks, reagents, and compressed and liquefied gases. SynQuest recently secured its growth initiatives with the decision to implement ProcessPro Premier ERP software.

Currently in its 17th year of business, SynQuest has expanded its manufacturing facilities to include a continuous flow production area, mainly for gas phase reactions, and a second high pressure area for autoclaves.

"SynQuest needed an ERP solution that could address needs specific to chemical manufacturing. They also needed a system that could accommodate future growth within their company," says Aaron Gindele, ProcessPro Business Development Representative. "ProcessPro Premier answered to both."

SynQuest is committed to product quality; they have a new analytical laboratory and a fully independent QA/QC department that is well equipped with a comprehensive range of analytical equipment.

The ProcessPro Premier Quality Control application uses Test ID and Sample ID numbers to create a seamless audit trail of test data. With the ability to record and execute an unlimited number of test instructions, the ProcessPro Premier quality control features give the manufacturer full confidence in product integrity for both purchases and manufactured products.

"SynQuest carefully analyzes all incoming goods and provides certificates of analysis for each customer. ProcessPro Premier fully supports these practices," says Gindele.

The formulation system within ProcessPro Premier allows chemists to create new formulas, see physical property calculations as the formula is being built, record manufacturing instructions, set up quality control tests, and see costs for labor, material, and overhead. All hazardous constituents are also automatically directed to the appropriate section on the Material Safety Data Sheets.

ProcessPro Premier is a fully integrated, real time ERP that offers a complete system from beginning sales order entry through the manufacturing and accounting process.
