Business Day Television (TV) Show hosted by Terry Bradshaw is pleased to announce a new episoded that features Denton Vacuum.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL, December 25, 2010

The producers of Business Day are pleased to announce that Denton Vacuum will be featured in an upcoming episode.

It takes a number of high-end processes to manufacture many of the technological wonders we take for granted on a daily basis. Many of these processes demand the highest levels of system automation. Moorestown, New Jersy-based Denton Vacuum designs and manufactures systems to deposit metallic and dielectric coatings that make many of today's modern marvels possible.

Denton's thin film technology touches every aspect of our lives. Applications include everything from reflectors in headlights, Light Emitting Diodes (LED), Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) for computer monitors and TV sets, fiber optics for communication, to optics used in the Hubble space telescope. Architectural glass by far uses the most vacuum deposit equipment. Virtually all glass used today bears some sort of coating, either to enhance some property like color or to improve qualities like reducing heat loss. These coatings are used in industrial and research applications ranging from optics, semiconductors, electro-optics, displays, tribology, medical devices to telecommunication.

"The ultra high purity required for the films that are in many cases just a few atoms thick, require that the deposition processes occur in an extreme vacuum," says Rod Moore, President, of Denton Vacuum. "When the system is pumped down into this range there are not more than a few molecules of atmosphere left in the chamber."
