2010-12-28
COTSWOLD, ENGLAND, December 28, 2010 (Press-News.org) Fans of Elton John with Cotswold hotel reservations may like to put Friday January 21st in their diaries.

Yellow Brick Road, one of the UK's top Elton John tribute acts, are due to play at the Gloucester Guildhall on this date.

Performing a selection of the best songs from a career spanning over 40 years, the group will pay homage to the legendary Rocket Man for the enjoyment of their audience.

According to the venue, Yellow Brick Road's gigs are "a must-see for any Elton fan, or for that matter any live music fan".

As well as the tunes, the group aim to provide a faithful Elton John experience by using the colourful costumes and spectacular stage tricks associated with the man himself.

People heading to the show can expect to hear classic hits such as Candle in the Wind, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me and I'm Still Standing.

With Elton's Your Song currently riding high in the charts thanks to the cover version by Ellie Goulding, now could be the perfect time to get reacquainted with the musician's back catalogue.

Tickets are priced at GBP12 and doors will open at 19:30 GMT.

For more information on this event, visit the Gloucester Guildhall website or contact the venue on 01452 503050.

Tax Resolution Firm Blue Tax Reduces Taxpayer's IRS Debt by 74%

2010-12-28
Many of today's taxpayers have considered the recent years to be financially stressful. At times like these we often do not make the brightest decisions and filing our taxes can sometimes be one of those decisions we tend to overlook. The IRS then has to calculate an educated guess of what we would have made and then owed which is called an SFR (Substitute for Return). As in most cases ...

Not all infant formulas are alike: Differential effects on weight gain

2010-12-27
PHILADELPHIA (December 27, 2010) – New findings from the Monell Center reveal that weight gain of formula-fed infants is influenced by the type of formula the infant is consuming. The findings have implications related to the infant's risk for the development of obesity, diabetes and other diseases later in life. "Events early in life have long-term consequences on health and one of the most significant influences is early growth rate," said study lead author Julie Mennella, Ph.D., a developmental psychobiologist at Monell. "We already know that formula-fed babies gain ...

Newborns with low vitamin D levels at increased risk for respiratory infections

2010-12-27
The vitamin D levels of newborn babies appear to predict their risk of respiratory infections during infancy and the occurrence of wheezing during early childhood, but not the risk of developing asthma. Results of a study in the January 2011 issue of Pediatrics support the theory that widespread vitamin D deficiency contributes to risk of infections. "Our data suggest that the association between vitamin D and wheezing, which can be a symptom of many respiratory diseases and not just asthma, is largely due to respiratory infections," says Carlos Camargo, MD, DrPH, of ...
