MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, December 29, 2010 (Press-News.org) Some of Australia's best yachts and crews will gather at Melbourne's Waterfront City next month for the Audi Docklands Invitational.
The event takes places on January 20th and 21st 2011 and is sure to prove popular with any sailing enthusiasts staying in Melbourne hotels at the time.
Five races will be held over the two days, with the entrants set to battle it out for the spoils in two categories - grand prix and production.

Many of the competitors will take to the waters off the coast of Melbourne having only just returned from another prestigious yachting event, the Rolex Sydney Hobart.

With the races looming, the organisers are still keeping their cards close to their chests regarding many of the entrants, but have confirmed the likes of Australian sailing team member Nathan Outteridge will be involved.
