SCHAUMBURG, IL, December 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Giving Tree at the Rabine Group headquarters in Schaumburg has been surrounded by presents for children. Generous employees of the Rabine Group have done an amazing job of spreading cheer by shopping for and donating gifts to families going through economically hard times.
The presents will be given to the children through an organization that the Rabine Group Foundation supports called Chicago Commons. Chicago Commons works to improve neighborhoods where families are at a high risk for poverty, violence and education disadvantages in the Chicagoland area.
The Rabine Group Foundation will provide the parents with jewel gift cards and the employees have personally purchased presents for the children. Together, the Rabine Group will be giving gifts to 37 families. The Rabine Group Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to invest time, talent and financial contributions needed to enrich the lives of children, elderly and underprivileged individuals, and to support medical research on a local and national level.
Through continued growth of the Rabine Group companies, the Rabine Group Foundation was founded in 2007 as a way to give back to the community. The company donation drives are proof of the commitment that the Rabine Group Foundation and employees have to give back to the community. Our thanksgiving food drive last month resulted in a donation of over 2,400 items to a very grateful food pantry. The Rabine Group has every intention to continue to grow this important part of the Rabine Group's culture.
With a firm commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction, the Rabine Group is a premiere service provider for paving, roofing, petroleum and other construction needs. Companies within the Rabine Group include: Rabine Paving, Rabine Paving America, UltraLot, Pavement Solutions, R.
