LateRooms.com - The Script Hit Milan in February

With the release of their second album The Script look set to continue their ascendancy in the music world and they have scheduled a gig in Milan on their upcoming tour.

2011-01-06
MILAN, ITALY, January 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) Irish band The Script are set to bring their accessible and enjoyable style of rock to Milan in February as part of their European tour.

Led by vocalist and keyboard player Danny O'Donoghue, the act have enjoyed huge commercial success in the UK and are currently in the process of breaking into the US music scene.

The Script will take to the stage on February 10th 2011 and attendees from the luxury hotels Milan has to offer will no doubt be keen to hear some of the group's most famous singles, such as Breakeven and The Man Who Can't Be Moved.

After achieving a number one album in the shape of their self-titled debut in 2008, some musicians may have rested on their laurels, but the group recently unveiled their sophomore effort Science and Faith, which has proved to be an equally popular record.

"We are more confident about our sound, so you really want to fine tune your writing skills," noted O'Donoghue on The Script's official website.

"Find the essence of what we do, songs that mean something, that people would like to sing out loud at a concert."

Tickets for the Milan show are available online for EUR25.30 (GBP21.75), with doors opening on the night at 21:00 local time.

For more information on this event, visit the Discoteca Alcatraz website or contact the venue on +39 02 690 163 52.
