Ready Foods is Ready for Future Growth with ProcessPro Premier ERP

National Mexican restaurant food supplier, Ready Foods, selected ProcessPro Premier ERP to integrate its entire manufacturing system.

2011-01-06
ST. CLOUD, MN, January 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) Ready Foods, a Colorado custom food processor marketed as Marco's Foods brand, recently purchased ProcessPro Premier ERP. Established in 1972, Ready Foods began by producing Mexican food for restaurants and retail outlets in the Denver area. Over the years, Ready Foods has expanded and evolved into a manufacturer of both Mexican food and a custom food processor producing a wide variety of products for restaurants nationwide.

In 2004, Ready Foods expanded production into a state of the art 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility. With multi-site operations and growth of this magnitude, Ready Foods needed an integrated system to address its inventory control, quality control, and regulatory needs.

"Ready Foods needed one system to manage all aspects of production and accounting with the ability to manage quality throughout the entire process," says Dan Erickson, ProcessPro Product Consultant.

ProcessPro Premier ERP provides Ready Foods the tools to better control inventory and costing as well as management, visibility, and scheduling of production.

As part of an integrated system, Ready Foods also needed a powerful MRP and a partner with a strong food manufacturing background. "ProcessPro's FDA industry knowledge and key software features such as allergen and lot tracking, and nutrition labeling ensure that Ready Foods is compliant with regulations at all times," says Erickson.

ProcessPro Premier is a fully integrated, real time ERP that offers a complete system from beginning sales order entry through the manufacturing and accounting process.
