NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, January 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator of digital signage and video/audio/control signal distribution and switching over UTP/STP and fiber optic cable, is pleased to announce that with our continued growth we have expanded our facility, our product line and our workforce. The new facility is 20,000SqFt, which adds 13,000SqFt and provides us the much needed space for our recently expanded Surface Mount Technology production lines. The latest addition is our third SMT production line, which will significantly increase our production capacity.
The increased capacity has made it possible to begin manufacture of over a dozen new products including digital signage players, power distribution units, extenders and converters. For more information about our new products, visit http://www.smartavi.com and go to the New Products category.
One of our latest additions is the SmartControl System that allows a user to select the outputs of a remote matrix switch with a local console. The system consists of the SmartControl Switch and the SmartControl Hub. The SmartControl Switch is a multi-button panel that simplifies selecting the desired output of the matrix. The SmartControl Hub translates the input from the SmartControl Switches into RS-232 commands that the matrix can recognize. With the SmartControl System, users can choose from up to 16 outputs with just the press of a button. Both the SmartControl Hub and SmartControl Switch are rack-mountable solutions. They are compatible with any of SmartAVI's switching matrixes that have RS-232 controls.
