OXFORD, ENGLAND, September 02, 2010 (Press-News.org) Shirtlab, providers of a state-of-the-art online T-shirt design service, is delighted to announce that the winners of the festival t-shirt design competition held in collaboration with welovefestivals.com have been selected. The three winners will receive ten t-shirts with their design printed onto the front or back, in the sizes they require. For more information, visit http://www.shirtlab.co.uk or call 0800 1072144. One of the winning entries can be seen here: http://www.shirtlab.co.uk/wiki.aspx/LiveArt?designId=31bcc293-5d8b-4953-a684-708126303a54
"This is the first competition we have hosted using the online t-shirt design tools, and it has given us lots of ideas for future competitions, so expect some big announcements about those in the future!" said Steve Beynon, founder and MD of Shirtlab. "When t-shirt design is made as easy as it is in our online t-shirt design lab, the real challenge is actually dreaming up the core t-shirt design idea. It was really interesting seeing what people came up with."
When asked about the kinds of designs submitted, Steve said; "It was a mix between t-shirts with a very broad festival theme, such as one of the winning designs we've released featuring a festival crowd, and t-shirts designed for specific groups of people. One particularly memorable design was for a team named quite controversially, and one I probably shouldn't say here!" Steve said. "But that design does use the team t-shirt tool well, as individual names and individual team positions can easily be adapted for each t-shirt, creating individual team t-shirts with a unified design."
