BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, January 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) A forthcoming event in Bournemouth is set to attract fans of Strictly Come Dancing in their droves.

Anton du Beke and Erin Boag, two of the most popular professional dancers from the hit BBC One programme, are due to bring their new show Puttin' on the Ritz to the south coast next month.

The duo will appear at Bournemouth's Pavilion Theatre on Tuesday February 8th and Wednesday February 9th 2011.

Dancing to timeless music from the likes of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein and Cole Porter, the fleet-footed pair will be accompanied by guest dancers and a live orchestra.

Songs due to appear in the show include Berlin's classic Puttin' on the Ritz itself, as well as On the Town, Razzle Dazzle and That Old Black Magic.

People staying in Bournemouth hotels are likely to be familiar with both Du Beke and Boag, who have been dance partners since 1997.

Both professionals have competed in all eight series of Strictly, with Du Beke partnering the likes of Lesley Garrett, Kate Garraway and Ann Widdecombe over the years.

Boag has danced with celebrities such as Julian Clary, Colin Jackson and Austin Healey.

Tickets for the Bournemouth performance of Puttin' on the Ritz are priced at GBP29.50, GBP33.50 and GBP36.50. The show is due to begin at 19:30 GMT.
