Author of "Don't Curse Your Wedding Bed Before You Say I Do", Tara White, Encourages Singles To Take A Vow Of Celibacy For 2011

North Carolina Author Promotes Abstinence For Singles In New Book

2011-01-10
WALDORF, MD, January 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Tara White, a Spencer, NC native, has much to say about sex before marriage. With young people falling into the trap of pre-marital sex, the epidemic of teen pregnancy and the rapid spread of sexually transmitted diseases, White wants to do what she can to turn the tide. Having experienced the consequences of bad decisions herself, she recounts her life story through the pages of her first book, Don't Curse Your Wedding Bed Before You Say I Do. As she spreads the message of abstinence, she also wants each and every single person to commit to living a life of celibacy in 2011.

Tara says, "One of the reasons I wrote 'Don't Curse Your Wedding Bed Before You Say I Do' is to make single people aware of the pitfalls that I went through. I want to see singles live the life that God has intended for them which is why I am encouraging unmarried people to commit to abstaining. It's never too late to start."

Tara is encouraging singles who want to live a life of sexual integrity to log on to her website, WeddingBed.net, to sign up for regular messages of encouragement. Those wishing to make their pledges public can post their intentions on Tara's Facebook page (http://on.fb.me/eou1yH). With the benefits of waiting far outweighing the immediate gratification, Tara is hoping many will cosign to the movement.

In her book, Don't Curse Your Wedding Bed Before You Say I Do, this mother and wife recounts some of her harrowing experiences of growing up too soon and not following the godly path that had been laid out for her. A call to all singles and teens to abstain, the book is a heartfelt, honest story about the strength of the human spirit, and the power of faith. It makes a case that family dynamics, social and cultural influences, personal life events, painful childhood experiences and divine intervention all interrelate and can impact a marriage and relationships. It is a true testament to God's grace from someone who has experienced it personally as she proves that there is no mistake too bad for God's love to cover.

The book provides deep insight on how to survive the battering storms of life better than ever. Whether single or looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right, married seeking help with a troubled relationship, or divorced and not sure if you will ever love again, Don't Curse Your Wedding Bed Before You Say I Do provides hope and direction to the fulfilling relationship God has called each of us to.
