TENBY, WALES, January 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) People spending time in one of the hotels Tenby has to offer next month may be interested in a special event taking place in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

On February 21st, some of the park rangers will lead attendees on a series of activities known as Wake up to Wildlife! and Spring Surprises!.

Held at Colby Woodland Garden in partnership with the National Trust, the family-oriented day provides holidaymakers with a chance to spot the first signs of spring in one of the UK's most stunning landscapes.

It also includes a scavenger hunt, various arts and crafts activities and bird-box making tutorials.

Priced at just GBP2.50, the activities will begin at 14:00 GMT and last for roughly two hours.

People interested in joining the rangers are advised to wear suitable outdoor clothing, take something to eat and make sure they book their place in advance.

Set in a secluded valley near the village of Amroth, the Colby Woodland Garden is known for its variety of colourful plants and wildlife.

According to the National Trust, the garden is ideal for "shady woodland walks" at all times of year, as the environment changes to reflect the seasons.
