CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA, January 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Brides-to-be and their loved ones will be heading to Cairns next month for the North Queensland Wedding and Formal Expo.
Described by the organisers as the biggest event of its kind in the region, it will take place at the Cairns Convention Centre on February 20th 2011 - just one week after Valentine's Day.
There should be plenty on display for happy couples who step out from their Cairns accommodation to attend the show, with 130 exhibitors confirmed as taking part.
Three professional fashion parades will be held throughout the day, offering a chance for cheap accommodation Cairns guests to get some tips on wedding fashion. The first of these will kick off at 12:00 local time, with subsequent shows starting at 13:00 and 14:00.
Prize giveaways will also be held, with three honeymoon packages valued at a combined A$20,000 up for grabs at the spectacle.

Admission costs A$8 on the door, although passes can be purchased in advance for A$7, while car parking is available at the venue for A$4. The event will run between 10:00 and 15:00.
