uSwim Releases an iPhone App to Help You Teach Kids to Swim

Learn how to teach children to swim with uSwim step-by-step videos, easy and clear

2011-01-13
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, January 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) The mobile learning application uSwim was released, which is aimed to help you teach children to swim in a clear and effortless way. Now the world-leading training course uSwim has been developed as an iOS application to make the process of learning more convenient. Compatible with any iOS device, it gives parents the knowhow to teach their children to swim, which has been proven to benefit kids both physically and emotionally.

The program comes from Australia's leading babies and infant learn to swim schools - Aquatic Achievers, who have been teaching children for over 40 years, and currently teach 400,000 lessons per year. uSwim uses the same skills and drills as Aquatic Achievers, however breaks the program down so that parents can follow one step at a time.

The application was specifically designed to meet the demands of parents facing the challenge to teach their children to swim. uSwim gives parents the tools to teach their children confidently and safely. Children improve by learning one skill at a time, and this step by step approach allows parents to teach at their own pace. The app even provides free certificates to present to children when they complete a skill.

Parents watch series demonstration videos and repeat the same exercises with the children in the pool. These exercises combine to make up a professional lesson plan that teachers can follow. This app will become your helper over several years as the uSwim program can be used for babies aged from 4 months, right up to teenagers who are beginners. uSwim has a strong emphasis on safety along with allowing children to enjoy water by becoming great swimmers.

This application will truly revolutionize the way children are taught to swim. In the past parents who could not afford lessons, or who did not have access to quality lessons, would have to guess how to teach their children. It will also allow parents to start teaching their babies at a younger age now they can see the correct way to introduce skills safely.

Device Requirements:
• iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
• Requires iOS 3.1 minimum
• 16.3 MB

Pricing and Availability:
uSwim application is available for free download in the App Store:

"The uSwim application was developed to help parents make their children safer around water and also give them the gift of a healthy activity for life." said Ben Douglas, the uSwim CEO.

The uSwim program has been synthesized from one of the world's premier "Learn to Swim" programs, developed over many years in the Aquatic Achievers group of swim schools in Australia.
