LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND, January 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) DOUBLE glazing giant Safestyle UK today revealed it had enjoyed an amazing 28% boom in TV, radio and online related sales during the recent cold snap.
The company said it was very pleased with the surge of new customers choosing Safestyle for uPVC windows and doors to reduce heat loss from their homes.
Bosses revealed that overall sales sparked by the company's online, TV and radio marketing campaigns had risen by almost a third in the last three months of 2010, compared to the same period in 2009.
A Safestyle UK spokesman said: "Our sales figures have been excellent. There has been a real rush of customers wanting our new uPVC windows and doors in the past few months.
"And despite the bad weather our installers haven't allowed the snow and ice to stop them getting to destinations across the UK. Their determination and professionalism have played a huge part in our success.
"Demand has been particularly strong for products from our expanded ranges, including our new A-rated Eco Diamond Window, which is 100% energy efficient, as well as our new Sliding Sash Window."
Business generated from online leads alone saw a massive increase compared to the same quarter in 2009. Unique visitors to the Safestyle website were up by more than 5,500 per month during October, November and December. This led to over 2,000 more online sales inquiries compared to Q4 in 2009.
Safestyle believes that the hike was related to various factors, including the bitterly cold weather and people trying to keep warm by preventing heat loss from their homes, but also relating to the stagnant property market.
"It seems a growing number of people are focusing on upgrading their own properties instead of trying to move home in the current housing market, which is still flat and stagnant," the spokesman added.
Safestyle UK now has over 40 branches across the country to satisfy huge demand for its products, having become the largest independent provider of affordable uPVC double glazing in the UK. The company, which launched in 1992 with just GBP2,000 capital, has experienced rapid growth and installed more than GBP100million of energy-saving windows, doors, composite doors and patio doors in homes across the UK last year.
It has an exclusive internet offer on its BOGOF deal. People can visit http://www.safestyle-windows.co.uk for more information.
