HONOLULU, HI, January 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) The CIO Summit team announced today that Robert Strickland, President, Strickland Consulting LLC and former SVP & CIO at T-Mobile, will act as Master of Ceremonies for the upcoming technology event, March 13-16, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The CIO Summit will bring together CIOs, senior IT executives, analysts, and solution providers to have in-depth discussions and share ideas in a relaxed, yet focused business setting. The event is an opportunity to connect with former colleagues, make new business contacts and attend in-depth educational sessions.
Strickland, as the Master of Ceremonies, will deliver the welcome address and closing remarks as well as provide leadership throughout the CIO Summit. He served as SVP and CIO at T-Mobile from 2006 to 2010, managing a staff of more than 2,000 individuals. He was also responsible for aligning IT strategy with business initiatives and delivering innovative solutions to support T-Mobile's customer-driven philosophy. In less than one year of his arrival, T-Mobile received recognition by Information Week Magazine as the #16 top IT organization.
