FORSYTH COUNTY, GA, January 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Sidney's Pizza, (sidneyspizza.com) Forsyth County's well-known family-destination pizza parlor located at Vickery Village in West Forsyth, recently announced the restaurant is now under new ownership and preparing for an expansion that will double the size of Forsyth County's favorite pizza parlor.
Scheduled for completion in early February 2011, expansion plans for Sidney's Pizza will increase square footage at the restaurant by more than 800 square feet. While customers can expect the same excellent service and hand-tossed, brick oven baked pizza they have grown to enjoy at Sidney's Pizza, they now will have more menu items in double the space. In addition to increasing indoor seating capacity by 70 percent, the restaurant will add much needed space for sports team gatherings, churches, and birthday parties, and doubling the size of the kitchen adding a number of new brick ovens for dine-in, take-out and delivery customers.
A popular dining destination and delivery option for families, Sidney's Pizza first opened in Forsyth County in 2007. The restaurant was sold in October of this year and purchased by the Marshall and Burns families, Forsyth County residents, who saw the restaurant as an opportunity to become more involved in a community in which they have all grown to love and embrace.
"We are all thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to sharing the Sidney's Pizza Parlor experience with the many loyal customers in the area and introducing our great brand of food and service to new customers across Forsyth and surrounding counties," said Lori Marshall, Sidney's Pizza co-owner. "We are very focused on our customers and want them to always think of Sidney's Pizza when they want great pizza ... at a fair price... in a fun and friendly atmosphere."
The Marshall/Burns families have six sons between them all who attend Forsyth county schools and very involved in sports in the Midway/Vickery area. Both families are very active in the community with both men coaching a variety of football and baseball teams at local area parks.
Sidney's Pizza currently employs 45 employees, many who are Forsyth County residents.
Vivian Heard, a Forsyth County resident, active community member and loyal Sidney's customer, said she is thrilled to learn that Sidney's Pizza Parlor is expanding. "We love the great food and family atmosphere at Sidney's and go there often for dinner, soccer banquets and birthday parties," she said.
Another exciting outcome of Sidney's Pizza restaurant expansion is the addition of jobs that will be created as a result of being able to accommodate more customers, added Heard. "This is good news for Sidney's Pizza and good news for Forsyth County!"

DWI Defense for the Accused Citizen: The "No-refusal weekend" Campaign Is Misleading
2011-01-15
This year began with the State of Texas advertising another "no refusal weekend" to combat citizenry suspected of driving while intoxicated. The term "no refusal weekend" being advertised by law enforcement in the media is extremely misleading, and it could very easily mislead someone to believe that they do not have the right to refuse, not only a breath test, but any type of DWI test. Because of this recent campaign, many people have unwillingly taken a DWI breath test and performed field sobriety tests that they may have otherwise refused.
