Power Manager is an automation and energy saving solution for Mac OS X. Power Manager offers a wide range of energy saving events, including the ability to run applications and scripts to a schedule.

New to Power Manager 4.0.3 is the Power API. Developers can now programmatically access the battery and power information. This information includes the battery health, charge, and time remaining. A wide range of power sources are supported, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The Power API is available through C, Objective-C, shell, and AppleScript interfaces.
This release fixes a bug in the inactivity trigger. This bug affected how multiple inactivity triggers interacted, and could cause triggers not to fire.

Power Manager is available today through the DssW web site for 39.95 EUR, and 299.95 EUR for Power Manager Professional.
System requirements are Mac OS X 10.4 or later for Power Manager, and Mac OS X 10.6 for Power Manager Professional.
Version 4.0.3 is free for users of Power Manager 4. Existing users can update using Power Manager's automatic software update.
