NEWPORT BEACH, CA, September 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Vivoderm Laboratories shared their natural skincare line with contestants and guests as they sponsored the 3rd Annual Miss Newport Beach Pageants, Sunday, August 29, 2010.
In addition to their sponsorship, Vivoderm Vice President, Dr. Noushin Adhami participated in the pageant as a contestant judge. Alexis Bellino, a local resident and star of the "Real Housewives of Orange County emceed' the event while, DJ and Producer of Star Radio and MTV, Jamie Allen was the official announcer.
On the lower deck level, sponsor Vivoderm displayed a variety of their natural skincare products and donated an assortment of sample packages for all the guests. Full product packages were gifted to the winners, including: Little Miss winner: Addison Rey Lemme, Junior Miss; Alannah Albright, Miss Teen; Alli Adams, Miss Newport Beach; Juli Hueni and Mrs. Newport Beach; Julie Ann Ulcickas.
Titled 'Beauty on the Water', the tradition of the annual Newport Beach Pageants was held aboard the yacht Endeavor in Newport Beach Harbor. While the pageant commenced, The Endeavor cruised beautiful Newport Harbor amid sunshine and Sunday afternoon boaters.
"We are proud to sponsor the lovely women of Newport Beach in the Miss Newport Beach Pageant Events. The yacht venue was particularly exciting and I was honored to participate directly this year as a judge. The selection process was a difficult one, but I did my best," said Dr. Adhami.
Cameras abounded as multiple production companies arrived to record the event. Bravo TV filmed the pageant for a future episode of "Real Housewives of Orange County" and filmmaker Shari Bellafonte (daughter of Harry Bellafonte) was also filming the show for her documentary, "What Is Beauty?"
Pageant owner and producer, Caren Lancona stated, "Beyond our desire to give our community an institution of its own, we also strive to increase attention and consumer traffic to our local businesses and national sponsors, who are so integral in making Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar the thriving cities that they are today."
Twenty percent of the proceeds from the event went to Working Wardrobes, a Costa Mesa-based nonprofit, which provides professional attire to at-risk women and men.
