SSON, the largest and most established community of shared services and outsourcing professionals, has launched their inaugural Finance Transformation Europe 2011 event, which promises to be the premier event for finance professionals seeking to streamline operations, improve business processes, mitigate risk and reduce reporting errors through innovative business partnering, end - to end process and optimised delivery. The event features expert commentary by global leaders focusing on driving process strategy in the back office operations, specifically those that cut through the finance function such as Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.Finance Transformation will be held at The Bloomsbury, London, United Kingdom from

Day one of the event is packed full of interesting information, including an interview with the E&Y CFO, Tom Passmore, concentrating solely on the transformation of the Finance function A buy side debate on what it takes for finance to become a true business partner follows, titled ¡°Benchmarking your Finance Organisation.¡± The session looks at the importance of companies adopting an end to end, business outcome and customer centric approach. The panel will speak candidly about how companies can go about improving process, both in house and in collaboration with an external partner.
Also featured is a session by the industry analyst firm Horses for Sources, presented by the company's European Research Managing Director, Euan Davis. Backed by a recent study with the London School of Economics, attendees will gain an insight into how business leaders view Cloud Business Services, and insightful predictions on how they will impact organisational forms, operating models and critical relationship between business and IT.
Day two of the event kicks off with an intuitive session on how to stay compliant with local regulation in a SS model, followed by speed networking. The Annual Finance Executive Board Meeting will be held for mature, regional and global leaders who are responsible for the strategy and contractual elements of transformation.
Attendees of Finance Transformation Europe will take a "hands on" approach during the Finance Technology & Innovation Demo Drive. A fun, revolutionary element of the conference, solutions experts will demo the latest products and applications in multiple, short runs, allowing time for attendees to visit numerous options. Attendees will be able to vote, in a fun and interactive way, for their top five technology picks and winners will take centre stage to deliver their five minutes of fame and appreciation.
