Knowledge Platform Wins Brandon Hall Award for Content Development
SINGAPORE, January 21, 2011
Knowledge Platform scooped the bronze medal for Best Custom Content at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards for its Gadovist 1.0 course developed for Bayer Healthcare. Puja Anand, CEO of learning solutions, accepted the award on November 4 2010 in San Francisco. The Knowledge Platform team selected the prize winning e-learning course from its suite of custom courses developed during the year after an internal poll. The course scored highly on ease of navigation, interactivity, visual design and instructional quality.
Knowledge Platform excels at imparting knowledge in a user friendly and interactive format. Gurpreet Minhas, the project manager who oversaw development of the course at Knowledge Platform said: "Although the content is complex and, in this case, entirely medical, our course introduces the concepts in a very user friendly manner. This course uses analogies to explain concepts related to complex technologies and it builds on small interactions."
Knowledge Platform's development model exemplifies virtual working with clients, developers and managers across different time zones. The Gadovist 1.0 training course was developed in house by Knowledge Platform's team of developers and graphic designers. Working with excellent content provided by Bayer Healthcare, the Gadovist 1.0 training course marries great functionality with explanatory and interactive graphics to meet the targeted learning objectives.
"The award validates our virtual and collaborative content development model," Puja Anand commented.
"These winning entries are very impressive," said Brandon Hall, PhD, chairman of the Awards program. "We are thrilled to recognize innovative learning of such high quality." A total of 214 entries were originally submitted. The entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior judges.
