CARY, NC, January 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Each year Cary Magazine readers nominate and vote for their Western Wake County favorites as part of the Maggy Awards program. This year they selected eyecarecenter's Dr. Don Cloninger as Best Eye Doctor while his colleague, Dr. Uwe Canting, received an Honorable Mention.
This is third year that both doctors have placed in the top three in the Maggy Awards category of Best Eye Doctor.
In his 31st year as a health care practitioner, Dr. Cloninger is a partner in eyecarecenter's offices in Cary at Barnes & Noble Plaza and Preston Plaza, and in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street. Dr. Canting is the lead partner at the Preston Plaza location, which is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year.
