Aerosmith Recording Schedule Conflicts with Date of RJL Memorial Fund Battle of the Bands

Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton unable to join Siobhan Magnus as judge for the RJL Memorial Fund Battle of the Bands. Aerosmith is scheduled to work on new material for forthcoming album.

FOXBORO, MA, January 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is unable to join American Idol finalist Siobhan Magnus, at the sixth annual Battle of the Bands on January 30th, 2011 at Showcase Live, Gillette Stadium, in Foxboro, MA. The synchronization of band member schedules precipitated the swift change and Tom Hamilton and fellow band mates will join lead singer Steven Tyler in Los Angeles to work on new material for forthcoming album. Tom Hamilton will instead send a video message to be broadcast during the show. In a statement issued by RJL Memorial Fund Trustees Rick and Marie Lariviere said, "Of course, we are very disappointed, but we are honored and extremely grateful to Tom for his support and wish him and the band enormous success with their recording." Tom Hamilton has offered to find a replacement at the judges' panel. An update with the new judge is expected within the next several days.
