LONDON, ENGLAND, January 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) A movie cycle entitled Portrait of Artists: Film and Conversation is currently taking place in London.
In total, seven documentaries have been made by filmmaker Gerald Fox for the series, with tourists staying at London hotels (http://www.hotels-london.co.uk/) still having the opportunity to attend screenings of the productions relating to Robert Frank and Cildo Meireles.
Frank is a Swiss photographer whose most famous work is Les Americains, while Meireles is a Brazilian artist renowned for his installations opposing political oppression.
The flicks will be shown at the National Portrait Gallery on February 10th and 17th respectively, with Fox set to appear at the venue to take part in a talk and a Q&A session on both dates.
