Creative FX Bring Car wrapping craze to Bluewater

Creative FX are running an exciting event at Bluewater shopping centre to show how the latest celebrity fashion, the vinyl wrap, can be used to give even the most modest vehicle a new head turning look.

2011-01-26
KENT, ENGLAND, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) The removable vinyl wrap has become increasingly popular among celebrities and the well-healed of late, as they completely change the colour of their Porsches and Ferraris. Now, vehicle graphic specialists, Creative FX, are running an exciting event at Bluewater shopping centre to show how this latest celebrity fashion can be used to give even the most modest vehicle a new head turning look.

A two-day exhibition on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th February at Bluewater shopping centre in Greenhithe, Kent has been organised, in association with 3M, to show the fun and versatility of this type of customisation.

There will be something for everybody; four completely different vehicles - a Porsche GT3 RS, Fiat 500, Vespa scooter and Smart car - will be wrapped in differing styles and colours, including carbon fibre di-noc vinyl and 3M 100 Series vinyl printed in a rather striking Paul Smith stripe design.

Chris Pook, Director of Creative FX, says as well as high performance cars for celebrities and sportsmen, like Formula One racing driver, Jenson Button, he is being asked to wrap everything from family hatchbacks to vans. "People are choosing vinyl wraps over other more permanent alternatives, as they allow you to have fun with your vehicle, without any long-lasting effects. A re-spray is forever and can reduce the value of a car, whereas a wrap is quick and easy to remove, so you can return your vehicle to its original colour whenever you want."

Entrance to the event at Bluewater is free and people can enter a draw to win a free wrap for their own vehicle.
