COSMED USA Announces Acquisition Of Life Measurements Inc. (LMI)

COSMED today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Life Measurements Inc. (LMI), leading provider of body composition assessment equipment in infants, children and adults. LMI develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices designed to provide the most accurate body composition based on Air Displacement Plethysmography technology, nowadays considered the "Practical Gold Standard" in body composition assessment. LMI's technologies are extensively used in medical research, clinical, athletic, military and health/fitness settings all around the world.

With the addition of Life Measurement Inc., COSMED further enhances its offering of Metabolic & Nutritional Assessment solutions to the Research and Clinical markets in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition.
