OXFORD, ENGLAND, August 13, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ian Wallman, Record Producer and Senior Audio Degree Lecturer at SAE Institute Oxford, has joined the panel of experts for the Guardian Careers ' What is it like to be a music producer ' live Q&A session this Thursday 12th August 1-4pm.
Wallman who has over 15 years experience in the music industry including a UK top ten hit, major record and publishing deals in both the UK and USA, received an Ivor Novello nomination for the "Best Dance Single".
Following a successful career in commercial radio he moved into record production, covering almost every genre from dance, rock, pop, jazz and classical while also achieving success in the area of post production (BBC), DJ'ing and audio education with the SAE Institute, Oxford.
Known for his high production values and versatility, his work has been adopted by many international artistes as diverse as Beyonce, Lady Ga Ga, Michael Buble and Shakira.

Also joining the panel is former SAE London graduate, Guy Katsav. Guy mixed four tracks on The View's album "Hats Off to the Buskers" which went to number one in the UK Album Charts, including one of the tracks he mixed reaching number 3 of the UK Single Charts.
